Signal Mountain is located just north of downtown Chattanooga with several smaller communities situated on it’s brows. The Town of Signal Mountain is located on the “front” of the mountain, the Town of Walden encompasses an area at the top of the W Road and then the unincorporated area of Single Mountain within Hamilton County (further north on Taft Highway you will enter Sequatchie County). Signal Mountain features two excellent elementary schools, one middle and high school. You can find hiking trails and opportunities to observe nature all around Signal Mountain!
