new tv shows that are worth watching

Posted OnSep 23, 2020

Do you ever find yourself having free time and wanting to find a good show to watch but don’t know where to start? Well look no further because here are a list of new tv shows separated by genre!

1. For the romantics: Emily in Paris – Sex and the City creator Darren Star is back with another glittery, romantic TV show. This one stars Lily Collins as Emily, a young professional who moves to Paris for a once-in-a-lifetime job, and all the familiar high jinks ensue: new friendships, culture clashes, and, of course, love. I’m fully ready to be swept away. Can be found on Netflix.

2. For the crime junkies: Helstrom – Some more content from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon star as two children of an infamous serial killer who try to deny their lineage by tracking down the worst living criminals. Can be found on Hulu.

3. For the ones who like a mystery: The Flight Attendant – The eight-episode dark-comedy–thriller is essentially the story of how an entire life can change in one night. Cuoco plays Cassie, a flight attendant who wakes up in bed with a dead man after a luxurious night on the town—and no idea what happened. The series is based on the novel of the same name by New York Times best-selling author Chris Bohjalian. Can be found on HBO Max.

4. For the ones who love drama: The Comey Rule – The fraught relationship between President Donald Trump and former FBI director James Comey is explored in this miniseries, including Comey’s ultimate dismissal. Jeff Daniels stars as James Comey, while Brendan Gleeson steps into Trump’s shoes—and the transformation is shocking. Holly Hunter and Michael Kelly have supporting roles. Can be found on Showtime.
