Summer Reads

Posted OnJul 08, 2020

Summer time is the perfect time to pick up that book that has been sitting on your night stand collecting dust, but you promise yourself that you will get around to reading it. Maybe this summer you will ACTUALLY get a free moment to follow through with your promise. If you haven’t found a book that has caught your eye, here are a few suggestions from the team.

Laine – Laine suggests the book The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena. She said that this book was an easy read and filled with suspense. So for the person who likes a thriller, this book might be the one for you!

Bekah – The book Bekah suggests is Every Breath.  This book is written by Nicholas Sparks who is Bekah’s favorite author. She has read all of his books.

Olivia – Olivia really likes the book Everything Always by Bob Goff. The reason she likes this book so much is because it is inspiring. Bob Goof tells stories about his life and the lessons he’s learned along the way. For anyone who is looking for a book that is faith based, this is a great book to start with!

Amanda – The Impossible Climb by Mark Synnott. Being someone who enjoys rock climbing herself, she enjoyed reading about Alex Honnold’s impossible climb of El Capitan.

Lauren – Lauren suggested the book The Giver of Stars by JoJo Moyes. She said this book was a unique and fast read and very descriptive of the beautiful Kentucky mountains.

Cara – Cara enjoyed the book Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley. Being from Memphis, she enjoyed diving into his personal life and getting the inside scoop between him and Priscilla.

Maggie – Maggie suggests the book Big Little Lies by Laine Moriarty. It keeps you on your toes and she enjoyed how it paints an interesting picture of how women interact with each other.

Kelsi – The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller. Kelsi suggests this book for a good personal development read.

Now, head over to Amazon and get busy reading! If you’re looking for more reads, we highly recommend the Reese Witherspoon Book Club.
