Local Coffee Shops in Chattanooga
Coffee is a must for my day-to-day. I love to try out new places and am a big fan of the local coffee shops in the area. Some of my favorites are:
Mean Mug:
A coffee bar that is locally owned and operated, that also roasts their coffee beans in house. This makes for a great cup of coffee and many options. They are also nationally known for their biscuits and apple butter cinnamon rolls.
Mad Priest:
Enjoy more than just a great cup of coffee here! This company believes that good coffee is something more than just the taste, it starts with farmers whom are paid a fair wage and are empowered to learn sustainable farming techniques. Another thing that sets this coffee shop apart is its dedication to “champion the displaced” by employing refugees that have settled in Chattanooga.
Milk & Honey:
Located in North Chattanooga, this place is one of my favorites! Whether I am looking for breakfast, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, or gelato, this place never disappoints.
Camp House:
Bring your computer and work remotely while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. The food is great, they have a huge covered deck and they also have live music on occasion.
Stone Cup:
Sit and enjoy a beverage while looking out over Coolidge Park and the Walnut Street Bridge. I love their Chai Tea Latte and Cuban Coffee!
Rembrandt’s:
Enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious pastry while taking in the views of the eclectic Art District.
Velo Coffee Roasters:
Velo is located on the South Side and their research, roasting, and tasting processes are what makes this place stand out for both hot and cold brews.
So, grab a good book or your laptop and head over to one of these places to enjoy a nice cup of coffee!
