IT’S HAUNTED HOUSE SEASON! Get ready to be cuddled up in a warm jacket, nibbling on some candy, and waiting in line filled with suspense. The best part about haunted houses is when you are waiting outside and your mind is racing through endless ideas about what will be inside! Of course we all think we will be the brave one that does not scream or flinch at the fake blood, but it’s just too natural to freak out. Don’t be the “cool” guy… loosen up! (and maybe scream and run if necessary.)

Here in Chattanooga there are plenty of haunted houses to visit: Haunted Hilltop, Haunted Cavern, and Haunted Barn! I have been to a few of these and really enjoy the scary parts and the silly aspects as well. From personal experience,

I know that the Haunted Barn and Haunted Hilltop are very family friendly and safe. Although it is scary, the actors do NOT touch you and they are ultimately there to keep you safe. You get the chance to spend some time with family/friends in a safe environment, be a little spooked, and pay a competitive price. Most haunted houses cost around $20 per person.
